Unearthing Hope

Unearthing Hope is a story about a grassroots land renaissance taking place in Southern Maryland and a new generation of young farmers rethinking their relationship to the land. The project, which focuses on regenerative agriculture and land conservation, opens a window to a little known world of small farms where a new generation is actively resisting the dominant industrial monocultures and healing the scars left behind by over 400 years of tobacco farming, while also reviving indigenous worldviews and older practices handed down from generation to generation.
